Simply The Best 2

Catholicgauze developed a PowerPoint presentation “The United Caliphates of Europe” that is worth examining in further detail. The debate in the comments section has gotten quite pointed as well.

As I commented on Zenpundit's post on the subject, Robb has the potential to get his concept popularized in the same way as "World is Flat" Friedman if he just flogs it enough and markets it right.

I don't think he will though. I wonder, when the final sales are tallied, how many of the buyers will be people who read his blog, and how many will be people who hadn't ever heard of his work (or read GG) before it came out?

Totally. My comment may have come out sounding more like a criticism than I intended.

I'm amused more than anything else.

Well, in our corner of the blogosphere, this is more acute. There isn't as much quality output of the very specialized subjects we discuss as the stuff that's fodder for more generalized political blogs. This is so we all tend to jump on the same things.
